On September 17, 2003, the Federal Highway Administration
(FHWA) selected Alternative H to preserve right-of-way for the Winchester
to Temecula Corridor and the Record of Decision (ROD) was signed.
On October 8th, 2003, RCTC certified the Winchester to Temecula
Tier 1 EIR. RCTC adopted Resolution No. 04-004, "Resolution of the
Riverside County Transportation Commission Certifying the Final Environmental
Impact Report Prepared for the Winchester to Temecula Corridor and Adopting
Environmental Findings Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality
Act, Statement of Overriding Considerations, Mitigation Monitoring Program,
and Approving the Project. This concludes the Tier 1 NEPA/CEQA processes
for the Winchester to Temecula Corridor. |
